after spending quite alot of money on making my car look sweet, ive just managed to blag the missis to let me spend on a re-map, so judging by all the good feedback rtech have got from quite a few people on here iam gona book with them, its only a 1hr 40min drive so not to bad and hopefully can get me booked in soon, its a 2000 agu with the forge 007, induction pipe with pipercross filter, cold air feed to that which are the only performance gain mods so far, will let u know tomorrow when i can get booked in, iam like a lil kid at crimbo right now haha
forgot also got 3" downpipe and decat, and jetex backbox

I really do need to get over there soon, but doing 50+ hours a week is REALLY getting in my way and really pee'ing me off in the process lol.

-
You definately won't be disappointed!!!
-
I no I don't but I Like it there I was there like 5 hours last time lol
-
i normally spend all day there when i go down. get there for first thing after driving 2 hours and then leave early evening. Well worth the trip mate however i would recommend to get a good exhaust system fitted first with larger downpipe and sports cat if you can afford it, this way you'll be getting the most from your remap. i managed to push out 198bhp with remap, Milltek exhaust, 3" downpipe and de-cat, Forge TIP, Forge 007p and pipercross panel filter. Completely transformed the car and the grin factor was brilliant.
-
With the above but with standard cat I made 221 bhp so very worth it
-
Got to remember though yours had the K03s turbo. This guy will probs only have a K03 so would be lucky to see over 200bhp
-
Well most get around 180-190+ on the ko3, but what you'll notice from the dyno is that there is a greater area under the torque and bhp curves than standard which is what will make it more driveable.
-
yeah mines k03, but got the 3" downpipe and de-cat and jetex exhaust.......
BOOKED IN FRIDAY 4TH OF FEB 12:00PM
an a cant wait lol will let u know how a get on
-
what sort of power gains has other agu owners got from a re-map
-
got 175hp with leaky DV and faulty MAF
That was first day i bought it, completely standard apart from the map obviously..
-
Ha, i got 173hp all day long with a coolant temp of 102 degrees, leaking DV and a few knackered hoses. (peak boost was 12psi and holding at 10-11psi) Pulls like a train now ive fixed all the faults. (shame i cant afford to get it on the dyno again... got a k03s sitting upstairs too :P) Umming and rring whether to fit it... As i wont be getting it mapped to suit.

+1 spot on post
The more area under the curve the quicker the car..FACT
-
next friday cant come quick enough
-
damn shame i cant get down there why do people have to have birthdays !!.. good luck you wont regret..
Nick can you pm me about coming down please soon for a check over of me new car
-
154bhp stock on the way down to R tech,Diagnostic check showed up dodgy MAF which was changed by Ben,Onto the ramps for a good check all over and tightening up some boost pipes then onto the dyno,Nick works his magic then you take it for a spin to see if the smile on ur face is big enough,Relieve ur pockets of money then for the journey home which is alot quicker...194bhp after Remap..
Well worth the money
Keep up the good work
