Title: perfect tyres for 17x7.5 ET35 for a mk3 golf going 40mm low
Post by: marky-gee on 25 January 2011, 21:09
I have asked about various forums and most people say i should be going 195/40/17 but this will be stretched a little.

I don't really want the stretch look i want the car to handle as usual and retain daily drivability would 205/40/17 give me this on a 40mm drop ?

Yes 205/40/17 is the best / correct size to keep the gearing spot on.

What about front scrub when on lock? Also will the arches need rolling?

You will / may need to trim the back, front should be fine
