Title: locking wheel nut

Just purchased a mk5 golf gt tdi 140 on saturday but have noticed I aint got a locking wheel nut key for it, checked all usual places, now if the guy cant find it then do you think i can just get another one from dealers? thing is too i've only got the service book for it and no other details, anyone got any ideas??

They should have a master at the dealers that will sort you out.  How much they will want for the service is another matter.

theres only about 10-20 designs of locking wheel nut, so your dealer should be able to match it.

cost around £25 from dealer.

cheers guys, have spoke to garage where i got car from and they said they will probably have it seeing as they put the alloys on it, hope so as i bet stealers will want a fair bit of cash lol

yeah am sorted now, and i purchased the gt tdi as i work all over the place so need someting good on fuel, plus a baby on the way so maybe in a few years might get the gti, must say am really impressed with it anyway,
