Post by: chrismk2 on 24 February 2005, 18:39
Ive just bought a 91 mk1 gti cab and unfortunately the heater doesnt work. Upon investigation, after testing power at the switch and the fan itself both had power. Then removed the fan itself it was burnt out, i popped over to gfs to buy a new fan(?60) and it still doesnt work??????? there power both ends but nothings happening the fan works(i tested it 12v batt) its just not working am i doing anything wrong?????

Also i keep getting a litttle over run???how can i stop this?

cheers chris

check the fuses for it, only other thing could be that you burnt out the speed selector switch though this is pretty rare
