Finally got the K04 installed. I did it myself and it took me about 20 hours :angry:. The heat shiled kicked my butt. I wasted maybe a day just trying to get around it and when it was finally off easy cheezy!!
To it out lil dampm outside. :rolleyes: and I can break traction at any speed under 60 MPH. The thing is a beast now. 2nd gear is super quick. 60-100 takes about the same time as saying "sixty seventy eighty ninety 100" Its just amazing. Only had to replace 1 hose everything else was bolt on. it cost me $2400 USD shipped with a US Spec ECU flash. With Turbo back exhaust(im running Stock) and FMIC the dynos are @ 335hp. I love it!!!

I took no pix and taking a pic now is worthless since it looks stock.
I have a DSG and its a totally different tranny now

Sounds like it's a bit of an animal now. Do you get chance to take it up and down the runway? :cool:

It's in Altrincham by Manchester Airport, trying to get a day / date sorted for it.

::::Update:::
It finally was dry outside and I gave it a go. I can not "Chirp" 2nd in my DSG I can Scream 2nd. Maybe a 2 second spin shifting from 1st to 2nd. I need some Tourqe mounts to eliminate wheel hop.
It is a totally different car

Did you have the DSG mapped as well ?

K04 always makes a big difference over the smaller IHI unit.
Any Rolling road graphs?

From APRs site//
NOTE Do not be fooled by claims from lesser tuners, a transmission reflash IS NOT Required to achieve the advertised power claims with an APR ECU Upgrade.

Interesting, as Superchips have different maps for DSG and Manuals with a slightly reduced torque limit for the DSG.
