Title: Removing an Armrest
Post by: RMar on 22 January 2011, 18:15
My pal is selling his 2004 1.9tdi se golf and said he would give me his armrestout of it before he sells. Is it easy to remove and fit into my Edition 30? Any help is appreciated!!

Yes it can be removed but can be a bit of a pain to do, especially if the rear vents are connected.

The only thing is. The colour of the plastic trim might be different if his car had the armrest from new, your ED30 trim colour might be slightly darker.

Also the armrest will be cloth whereas an Edition 30 armrest would be leather. You can change the top part for leather though.

Don't edition 30's have armrests as standard?
