OK. Back to basics.
Where from?
Run the car with the bonnet open, and you looking. :rolleyes:
Wait until the fan kicks in and the thermostat opens so the coolant in circulating everywhere.
Place some newspaper under the car so it covers the entire engine bay.
This will help you to identify spray/drips from below.
Set the heater controls to hot.
With the engine running squeeze and manipulate the pipes at the joins with the jubilee clips/clamps. Know failure points due to degradation.
Lift the carpets in both footwells to check for leaks from the heater matrix.
Basically, look for spray, and listen for hisses.

also look for old coolant thats settled and gone white on areas.. chances are its going to be a join under a lot of pressure.. so check the thermostat area and the two joins on the rad..

thanks was having a look under there today and it seems the radiator isnt coming on

you mean fan ?? the rad doesnt come on or off :grin:

where it joins to the front of the engine by the blue sensor seems to be a little leak

For definate?
It takes a while to come on if you run it at idle, stationary.

you might be able to remove clean contacts and replace and it might work if not replacement one is needed
