Try www.elephant.co.uk

Im 20 with 1 years no claims and i've been quoted ?870 which i would say is pretty good on a gti for someone my age and little NCB!

Only thing with elephant is i think its generally one payment for the year.

I got a quote from confused.com, for a standard 1986 gti, for me and the missus.

We are both 22. That was quoted with me having 2 years no claims, she only passed her test last year. At the end of April, I will have another years no claims.

?420 fully comp, or ?310 TPF&T. I think that was with admiral. and that should come down a little bit too.

I am with admiral at the moment, but I don't know how much my premium is. I started my insurance when I had a Clio 16v, then a mk3 astra 1.4, and now the golf. I estimate that I am paying about ?500 ish fully comp at the moment. They are fairly easy going with mods too, but I've only everhad basic mods.

Question, I will have 3 years no claims, and am the main driver. Could my missus also use her 1 years no claims discount on the same policy?

i think it only accounts to the main driver............

Yes it only accounts for the first driver, so you wont have a total of 4 years discount.

However the amount of no claims bonus your missus has will affect the premium if she is iinsured on the car.
