Title: Thank you to this forum!

Dear all,

A brief thank you to everyone who has helped me do the following, all within 35 minutes of getting my hands on my GTD (photo to be sent soon).

I did the following:

• Removed RCD510 and installed RNS510
• Removed existing VW Premium Bluetooth and installed new module (for iPhone)
• Installed LED lights from R
• VAG'd for staging, no KPH on MFD, RNS, Bluetooth, LEDs

All works brilliantly and nothing would have been possible if it was not for you guys. Guides, tips, tricks and links are a plenty here, so thank you everyone for your help.

Special thanks to mortygt140, SteveP and RedHP.

I do have some questions, but will stockpile them, do some searches and then fire them off to you all!

Now your an expert maybe you can answer this query for me! With regard to your Golf R LED lights.... whats the VW part no. for the adapters? Or did you have the adapters made up?

Excellent Sam, just goes to show the benefits of a bit of combined knowledge and the bravery of a few forum members who are inquisitive enough to find out how to do these things in the first place, thus saving the rest of us much heartache!  :smiley:

@MAW73: I bought mine off eBay, although the dealer did also give me most of the bits for free, but not all!

Thanks mate. I emailed a VW dealer today enquiring about the part no. and they didn't have a clue what it was  :smiley:
