Title: xbox 360 slim 250gb vs xbox 360 60gb
Post by: luke on 20 January 2011, 00:58
been looking at the advantages to these, whether to get the better option or save money..
250gb slim would be good as it's quiet and the built in wireless but £190 price tag puts me off a bit

Still cheaper than a PS3. £190 is not a lot for what you get tbh.

Although it depends on if you will benefit from a larger HDD, will you want to download demos and videos from the Live Marketplace?

Will you want it wireless?

If you answer no to both then get the original. However make sure it's a new one from a shop so you get the full standard warranty (1 year all parts + 2 extra years on RROD).

As for the noise of the console, bare in mind that you can install games onto the HDD so that the console runs quieter when playing, trust me, this will be a Godsend if you get the older console.

the noise was a pain on my old elite even when the game was downloaded, on play.com i've found a xbox 20gb for £60 then another £20 for a 60gb harddrive, think i'll save the extra £100 and spend it on the spaxo (or maybe a new car  :smug: )
