Just book, turn up and drive the tits off your car.
If you're having fun then it's fine.
I know someone who regularly drives a 1992 1.4 Fiesta at track days.
It's all about getting out there and having fun.

What sort of things should be done?
I'm wanting to take mine. Set the suspension until the wishbones are level, yes? Remove all the weight that's easy to put back in, then what?
All new bushes are going in the front anyway, back ones have some life left, worth trying to get some second hand wheels with decent ruber?
Get the geo checked and should helmets be worn?
Only want to take a mate round Brands.

Have you read all of the thread, or just posted like an actual bellend?
