Saw it earlier. Meh.

Nice ride.
Fair play if he's just starting out taking photos of cars/photography. Looks like he's at that 'photoshop the sh!t out of it or just leave it straight out of camera' stage that we all go through
Got bored so edited one. Just realised it looks wrong though, damn laptop screen. Can't wait to have a PC again.

some good concepts but ruined by too much slider action in PS
The long exposure on the puddles in a fantastic idea, but the composition isn't quite there, I'm sure the OP was more than happy with the results though
-
I commented last night saying that they were sh!t edits and it got deleted! They really are a bunch of tossers

have to say i agree

Sorry folks I honestly never realised this section was here. Have my MK6 blinkers on here most of the time! Next time I will remember
like that edit Winso, just saved a copy !!!
Like I said, guy has just started with the photography stuff as a hobby so we can't all be experts right caistor???
Next time I will post in here, sorry again folks

you don't come across well yourself to be honest? But everyone is welcome to their opinions.
-
Some nice pics among that bunch, like the ones with the light trails in particular.
-
Oh arent we all PC now we are posting out side fortress of fault finding
edit* sorry about that, wrong person. I was much more polite last night and then told asker to stfu before he says anything. Then my post was deleted which kinda pissed me off. The mk6 section is segregated enough without the mods deleting post's because they dont like the person posting.
-
They do look a little over processed for my liking but the light trail ones are good.
Glad you've got some nice pictures of your car though.

Still bored so messed with another!

why so pixlated winso? :undecided:
-
as winso said... some of them have had the sh!t photoshopped out of them
oh well..
meanwhile some people in the original thread are slapping themselves silly over it
-
Rant over

Yeh.
It's a bit of a phapfest re the photography and I'm not really sure why. I'm not being harsh because I understand we do all have to start somewhere but the photography really isn't close to pro standard.
It has given me a bit more motivation to get my ass into gear and sort out some pricing/promotion for my car shoots though. I'm by no means a pro but from this it looks like folks are generally very easily impressed (and possibly willing to part with money for semi decent photos!).
Shep - Few of things I think, first being the fact the original is pretty low res and has some big ole' jpeg artifacts hiding in the shadows. Lightening the dark bits brought them right out unfortunately. Also I was lazy about correcing the WB properly, then I forgot to tidy up the reflection once I'd done the actual car...

must say that is the only one that had any potential... shame you don't have the original RAW file to play with

Some good ideas in there, and as Winso has said it looks like a stage i went through when i first discovered HDR just cooked the sh!t out of everything!
And if Kenny is happy with them thats all that matters really, but when you start to look at it and break it down they could be alot better but we all need to learn
but if they like them hell id charge next to nothing and be raking it in!!
-
I am very happy with them, better than the mobile phone pics I usually have. Plus I never paid anything for them, was just a bit of fun so stop getting upset people! lol
Can send the RAW file if anyone wants to mess about with them no probs
-
as said if your happy with um thats all that matters :)
but everyone has thier constructive critisim to offer
