Title: Estoril alloys

Have a set of estoril alloys - are these rare and are they more popular than bbs ra alloys, what do you wreckon ?

this thread makes zero sense.

etorils are v-nice in my opinion. much nicer than intricate BBSes any day of the week.

they were not common on Golfs as they only came on late 16vs, but they were on Corrados though. they are getting rarer as they are not really sought after.

on the rarity chart they are less common than 14" Castellets but far more common than 15" Castellets.

estorils are rare, they only came on the last of the 16v's. get them proper polished and they look sweet!

I've got a set of unkerbed estorils, never really known whether they are worth much or not so didn't know what to do with them. At the minute I'm letting the missus run around with them on her mk2 driver  :shocked:
I had thought about just sticking them in my shed until I can afford to have them stripped and polished, I do think mk2's look pretty cool on a set of polished estorils.

Managed to take them down to my mates body shop and polish them up took ages

told you! mint when polished. unpolished they are probably worth about ?150 a set if in good condition

they seem to go for quite alot on ebay, ive seen them going for well over 250 before, my bro picked a set up for 50 quid not long ago.
