hey guys, my bootlid seems to be jammed up and does not seem to open via the central locking. the key wont work on the lock as i swapped over bootlids and never got round to changing the locks plus it never really bothered me so left it. does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to how i can open up the boot?

If you undo the screw thats in the inside handle of the boot then the cover comes off the inside of the boot (its held on with plastic clips the rest of the way round which just pull out) then you can get to the inside of the lock. There is a bit of rod that connects the lock to the the catch. if you disconnect this then you can pull it up with a pair of pliers and the boot will pop up.
I had a problem with my boot lock on the sh!tball golf so i rigged it up with a small strap that came onto the back seats. a good yank of that and the boot was open
