Title: Engine change
Post by: samaroo44 on 17 January 2011, 23:56
hey :) me and my buddy have just taken ownership of his uncles mk2 gti  Not a bad free gift really but we have decided that it shall be turned into crazy mobile. i have experience with japanese engines more than anything for tuning and that side of things so i'm wondering if there is anyway to fit a japo engine into it? i know mounts and stuff will have to be changed but thats fine although any info would be greatly appreciated

cheers

Better to fit a 1.8t or ABF.

ABF is best bet. Good results on kjet but better on Megasquirt.
