hi people im new here and just bought a se 1.8 90bhp
and has a oil filter housing gasket leak how easy are they to change  :smiley:

Very easy mate.If you find your housing is cracket i have a spare one here off an ABS engine the same as yours.Just dont get your sender wires mixed up.
Theres no oil cooler. :smiley:

is it deffo that and not one of the oil pressure sensors, these are a common fail on the mk3

havent got it yet the bloke that owned it said it was that but will have a good look
and see what i can find  :smiley:

give it all a good clean then see where its really coming from. pop the rubber boots off the sensors though, if 1 is full of oil theres ya problem :)
