Title: Hello from Dublin :) Need some help with 02 Golf Gti

was driving my golf gti 02 83000 miles today.. everything has been great. Stopped at traffic lights now very difficult to find any gear and cluth pedal is like a sponge..if its a clutch problem does any one know how much this would cost me....any help would be appreciated thanks lads :)

welcome along  :cool: try bleeding it for air but also inspect the clutch pedal where it pushes onto the master cylinder under the dash it could be about to break

Got that problem sorted I think :) took three visits to mechanic but now i think its done :) thanks for all the help
