Remember to keep some money aside for arch work and tyres if those are the wheel specs you want.
-
haha yeah you could say that! it's going to be a long project and I want some wheels to start things off. was reading PVW today and their project 4 play took 10 years to build lol
Right well I'm getting even closer now because I've now put on a gold cap and gold bolts. I have two tabs open I'm that close to buying.
Am I having a mid life crisis at 24?

won't be on till summer  I can get wheels and tyres with that, but with the spec I want now I can't get tyres at the same time, but that doesn't matter yet.
I know someone that will do my arches cheap, thank god

Step 1: make sure everything is running as it should, serviced engine, ok brakes and pads, etc.
Step 2: lower it
Step 3: wheels
Step 5: lower it some more
In between the above you can fit in other details like head+tail lights, arch trim or not, colour coded trim or textured, etc..
Calm down old boy, gold bolts are way down on the priority list

It's had a service 2000 miles ago. it's only done 27,000 and has nine Volkswagen stamps trust me it's mint.
yeah it's low 85 front 80 rear. it's time for some wheels
The car is staying OEM But I'm going to delete the front number plate recess
-
gonna have to buy them tomo now  can't seem to pick the et online everything else is fine though.
I'm using rimstyle. Is that good or bad?
-
I would see what is around s/h as to me £2k is nuts for wheels and tyres.
You could make it go a lot faster for that.

it's a r32 project so will go faster. but I have now read two project builds using the 2.0t which has got me thinking that it will be easier to do and more power to be had
-
That really is a sh!t load to be spending on wheels for a mk3 Golf.
-
2 grand on a mk3? I love my Mk3 Anni don't get me wrong but that's cause it cost me £500, for £2000 why don't you get a faster motor?
You can look the dogs bollocks at the lights but not as good as the fella leaving you in his smoke

The wheels are being made now so stop moaning about how much they cost, it's not your money.
I've said before it's going to get a different engine so it won't be slow. This is my project and it's going to take about 5 years. I want to build something to my taste, all OEM of course. I don't plan on selling the car, ever. I only want the best.
Maybe I should start a project thread. how do I do that?
-
Just go into the Dub Rides section and start a new thread
