Hi have got a mk1 with clipper kit, want the front to be lower, the vr6 front spoiler looks sweet but will the 16v on fit the same? rob

Not sure if the 16v fits, but Ihave a VR6 chin spoiler on my cab, I think you can get the from Volksbits.

AdamB> did you VR6 chin spoiler clip straight on or did it need modding? There's one on ebay now which i'm toying with but i'm unsure whether it's the right one

Funky - Yes it is low! its has about 2" of clearance, and every journey has to be thought out. Fortunatly though, I dont use it every day, and havent driven it since september! But when the summer comes (if it ever does) sh'ell be back outside, and enjoying a bit of attention.
Mix - It is a straight swap for the OE trim, but I have modified mine so I can clip it off/on is seconds, with zeus clips. If you look closely, you can see them on the side of the skirt. This is a real advantage when taking it to garages, or up on insspection ramps, etc..

......or trying to get up little inclines and pebbles when trying to get into VW Action !

Cheers for that, I take it that yours wasn't a two peice as shown in the ebay link then?, was just toying with the chin spoiler but it does sound like a whole load of hassle - I use mine on a day to day basis!!!! not sure I could plan all my routes, prolly just leave it standard then!
Thanks again
