Title: golf mk3 wire colours

can any1 tel me wat colour wires r for the speakers,live,earth etc
want to wire up a new system and the wiring is a mess.

Not to sure on the colours but better off starting from scratch.

Get a tester light and earth it out. Turn the ign off and search for a perm live (memory) yellow i think on the stereo.
Turn ign on and search for the live from the switch (live) red wire, could be the other way round with yellow.
Can test which is which by seenin if the memory works :wink:
Run some new speaker wires down, will be better than the old ones :wink:
wire up the speakers, you can test which ones which by adjusting the settins on blance, front and rear.
