hi all, im thinking of installing an s3 intercooler to my mk5 golf gti. i have just installed a set of sfs intercooler hoses and was wondering if these would fit the new intercooler or would i need to buy a new set? if i need new ones does anybody no which ones? cheers, chris

The hose connections between the oem and s3 IC are different. Oem one uses couplers while with the s3 one the hoses are clamped directly on to the IC outlets.
Bottom line is I don't think your SFS hoses will work without modification.

I had the std couplers welded onto my S3 intercooler so I could use the original hoses.

ok cheers, i remember hearing that you could cut the ends of the sfs hoses and connect them to the intercooler with jubilee clips?
am i right in thinking i can only pick one of these up from audi/vw or are they available elsewhere?
