Title: Correct Vag Com for Mk3 ?

Just wanted to check that I have bought the correct hardware to check for faults ( I have ABS light on).

As for the program I need can anyone point me in the right direction as it seems to ship with a stripped down version unless I pay.

Would VAGCOM 5.041 I have located be compatible?

yeah that one will work, can either use the old 409.1 or the new vcds lite with it, both will be fine.  only issue is what connector your car has, pre96 they had 2x2 plug later cars have the big D plug as per the ebay link. both use the same cable, you just need 2x2 -> d plug adaptor for the early cars
