Firstly, what a pig to work on, the mk3 system with its weird back boxes, off to the side and over rear beam!!!
So winters wrecked my exhaust, got new one and everythings off apart from the outer sleeve from the middle box onto centre section. Bout 6-7 inches of it.
Ive prysed, hammered, soaked in wd and it just wont budge! Any sugestions on how to get it shifted?

run the engine is what you should have done, warm the bad boy up, failig that cut it off, its not hard on the mild steel ones

well lets see if the penetrating fluids worked over night......
think il head out with a blow torch as well!

Just be careful, some penetrating fluid is flammable :wink:

Its off!! Couldnt find my blowtorch so hammer was the weapon of choice!!!
