Title: Starter or battery?
Post by: Big Tone on 15 January 2011, 19:41
How do I check either? Car won't jump start.
How long should I charge battery?
Should I bump start it?

Don't bump start, can damage the cat I believe.

You might be better to replace the battery as it sounds like it has died.

Would it not jump start, with jump leads, if the battery was dead?

Not always I have had it in the past where a battery has dropped so low on voltage it will not jump start.
