ebay. About £45+ for a new motor  + regulator mechanism.

Where I got mine mate, been fitted for 8 months now. Downside to fitting was that you had swap the polarity around as when wired up to what I thought ground and live it spun the motor the wrong way, ie up was down etc.

Try Pete Simpson at Dubbers Sports VWs - I got motor and mech from him made by same company that made them for VW - you can tell by the weight of the motor that they are not cheap replacement parts. 07796 304790 at Nabbs Lane in HD7 5AU

I had to replace the mech as I was replacing the hand windy things. But I would say advisable anyway - you will likely find that there is play in the clamp that moves up the guide - there was loads of play on mine on the driver's side but OK on passenger's side and whilst they were manual the same will be true of electric.

Mech and motor usually come as one.

Which side is it you're after? I got a Dubber's driver's side one about a year and a half ago... 6 months later I had to break the car due to a shunt. I still have the mech and motor if you're interested?

By the way - I wouldn't recommend the ones from veedubmachine - I got one from there before I got the one from dubbers VW, and it failed after 1 week!
