As per the title what modifications have you done to your MK6 and what do you plan to add in the future?

Please modify your original post rather than add to the listing and keep it SPAM free.

Mine so far:

RNS510 sat nav
VW Bluetooth (fitted by Darren)
Cruise control (hard work on 2011 MY)
Front mud flaps
Laser blinder to open my garage door lol
Maxi Cosi baby seat for Doc Jnr

So far just the VW bluetooth. Next I'm looking at:

LED number plate lamps 1K8 943 021 A (thanks golfgti5)
Latest RNS510 nav
Garage door opener with illuminated switch in the centre console (www.carstyle4you.com)

And if I can convince Mrs Mac (which I probably can't :grin:):

H&R lowering springs
19" BBS CH-R's
More power
Maybe a part leather re-trim of the seat bolsters

Currently awaiting the delivery of my LED rear registration lights. Went for the same ones peeps put on his R. Hopefully they turn up today!

After the LED's my next change is the sound system, i am very disapointed with the standard sound quality.  I will look through the forums for some ideas soon I think

Am still not sure, I always crave more power but not sure what else I can really do as I am kind of maxed out as it is without going and changing the turbo whick means ££££  :sick: and she wouldnt be happy about that  :rolleyes:

Maybe new wheels for me? Anyone want to sell me a set of 19" BBS Cks, Golf R Talladega or even the 19" VWR Alloys that they dont sell anymore!  :sad:

1. Well these arrived last night.... so Golf R LED tail lights are next for me :cool:

2. Upgrade the front headlight bulbs

3. Somehow retro-fit some LED DRL's.... i.e. as pic below

5. New tyres for spring ( not exactly a mod )

6. Set of BBS CH alloys 18" in anthracite ( only if I can find a reasonably priced second hand set ) or twist Exonian's arm to sell me his BBS CK's

7. Private Number Plates

8. Divorce ( as the wifes getting pee'd off with the amount of money I'm spending on the car )   :tongue::evil:

9. Buy a Ford  :evil:

I will put petrol in it, check the oil...and put the VWR wheels back on in a few months. That's it.

Pointless chasing more power...just buy a faster car.

I shall probably spend plenty on the Mk3 though...

New wheels............ Done.............. The car seems to be getting loads more dirt up the sides ?. that cause they are now 8J that extra inch..

Replace the puddle lights with Led's  (tricky)
Beg some one to make DRL's that are bright (new h15)
Replace the fog light bulbs to bright white.... any one know the bulb number?


Get a rolling test done to see its BHP and Torque difference with B Fin..... any good scottish (glasgow ish) people know where..

1: Waxoyling just recieved another 16 Ltrs.
2: Under body aero parts.
3: Private plate.
4: New Wing sponges and rear wheel arches with 10 Ltrs fabsil.
5: TPMS Tire pressue monitor button/harness source and fit.
6: Cruise control
7: LED rear lights.
8: LED DRL.
9: EMMA stealth audio upgrade.

Plans for mine - nuffink. Job done and saving towards holidays now.

Maybe get a set of Monza Shadows at some point if I find a bargain, just so they can go back on when I sell the car again.
And I like the idea of Xenons still, but not the cost (don't use the car very often so would never get value for money from the conversion). I'm keeping an eye on Doc's conversion with interest and possible intent. Black R ones for me please Matron.

So, as I don't have any modification plans I guess I'll just keep posting up more irrelevant rubbish instead. I might turn into Egbert/Crabster/R32. and attempt to sell pointless Nissans to the masses......!!!!

No more mods or upgrades for me.

A damn good polish and clean when the weather is a bit better and summer tyres back on.

I used Falkland Performance Centre, Falkland http://www.falkland.co.uk/

The guy who organised my run there had previously been a customer of the Dasteq Rolling Road wherever it is. His results were within 5 bhp of each other on a 200bhp car between Falkland and Dasteq.
