Post by: Chris-White on 13 January 2011, 20:10
hi there,

got this in my garage, pretty sure its engine mount related and for a mk1? came with a 9a 16v engine i bought ages ago. The red bit is poly.

i wanna sell it if its worth anything, its unused (despite being a bit mucky from trial fitment)

thanks dudes

Well if I were to get technical I would say that it's not a mount as such, more of an Engine Steady.

It is classed as the front mount in total you have 4 on a mk1.

I call it a front mount amongst other people but to me its a steady because the engine doesn't technically mount to anything at the front.
