Title: Advice needed on steering

Hello anyone have any ideas on what this could be when driving along at any speed the steering wheel is moving back and forth and the car seems to tramline was thinking maybe the tracking but not sure thanks jon m

Sounds like somethign needs replaced, you could start by jacking up the front wheels to give them a good tug in various directions and look for play in the various bushes and ball joints. I've had scary wonky steering form a worn out ball joint in the past...

Christ don't drive it until you know what's broke that's dangerous fella your subframe could fall off! :shocked:

^^^This, something is broke, you should no play at all in the steering wheel really, get it looked at asap.  :smiley:
