Hi.
I am looking to change my exhaust system from the standard pea shooter version to some thing more stylish and add a little more to the performance.
Could any one recomend one .
Cheers

a Powerflow system is the usual answer. It can be tailor made to suit you requirements.
I went for a modified Mongoose backbox, with a powerflow carbon-fibre wrapped tailpipe, and I had the cetnral silencer removed. This was around ?500 for the work to be carried out, but looks great and sounds awesome.

Cheers Adam.
What size tail pipe do you have on yours it looks perfect.

I'm waiting for my exhaust to go and then I'm going down the powerflow route, I just don't know whether to get a round tail pipe or a letter box style to keep with the squareness of the car. :undecided:
-
I think it's a 3" pipe. If you check out the powerflow website, you will see it. It is the one wrapped in carbon fibre.
Gibby - go for the round one, it will fit in with the exhuast cutout on the clipper bumper better.

Good point Ads, nice one, I forgot about the bit cut out on the clipper bumper was actually round !
Just got to wait for my exhaust to go now, anyone got any tips on knacking it !

nice zorst!(on the rather fine red one) mine had a full system on it when i got it but i dont like the back box on it! it comes out at an angle (nova style) lol
and it kind of hangs down a little too much for my liking! tryed to sort it but with tie raps but it rattled of the undernith of the car when i did so had to put it back the way it was!

i had 1 from powerflow, cost ?250 to have made and fitted with a 3" outwardly rolled pipe. you also get a life time guarentee with it

?250 is a damn good price for a powerflow, I was quoted ?350 at one place !

I was goin to go for a power flow back box on my mk2, letter box style for only ?160 incl vat and fittin, but got a standard rear box for 45 notes then swapped it for a S/S letter box style and had to bung the bird 30 notes, so all in all got me a s/s rear letter box for 75 notes :laugh:thats they way todo it
