Bort a powerflow exhaust for my mk3 but havent fitted it yet thinking of geting something bit smsller as its 1 that fills the gap up in bumper th cut out bit.
Just wonderd if they are any good
Cheers

should be t304 stainless steel, fit it and see what you think, sound wise and fitting, if you dont like it, get a full custom system made on the car to fit
-
powerflows are all different custom systems and made by franchises rather than one specific factory. Ive had a couple that have come on cars ive bought and the sound and quality of welding and steel has varied immensly!
-
Mine was very poor quality but some are better, all down to the center that built it.
-
ok cheers
-
mine is bang on cant complian cost me £195 i think
-
Ive had 4 different powerflow exhausts, 1 mk2 gti, 2 mk3 gti's and 1 civic type R, all from franchises local-ish to me and the welding has been absolute sh!te on every one!
Dont know if its just us northern monkeys that cant weld but I wont go near powerflow for this reason.

I got them to take out my centre box on my mk2 coz its already got a jamex system but i wanted it louder and its bang on getting them to take out the 2nd centre box in a few weeks i think

I've heard good things about the franchose in Kent, but others have been given bad reviews by friends
-
Ive got a powerflow on mine got the system for £80 second hand never really noticed the weld to be honest but it sounds pretty sweet had no issues with it
-
on my second one as the first one fell apart after 5 weeks and my second lamba sensor as they keep shafting it when they removing systems and de cating it.
Powerflow = c u next tuesday
-
Glad I never de-cated mine then

Ive heard blu's car go past and it sounded beefy
-
I had one on an old RS2000 I had and it was noisy but good quality!
-
Ashford Motorsport were one place I'd heard the better reviews about. I'm sure if you google it you'll find them.
-
Mine is fantastic - exactly the noise i was looking for! nice and quiet when im just cruising around town - then roaring when i open the taps!

It's more the quality of the workmanship than the sound. I've heard the quality of teh welds being described as 'looks like a pigeon sh!t on the joint.'

Depends on the Powerflow franchise ....
Mine was fitted by them the only faults ive ever had were exhaust leaks (due to low car) and the rubbers wearing out ... either way, I just drive back to them and they sort it out free of charge due to lifetime guarantee.
Sound is good aswell, silent @ 70mph (ideal for motorway) but loud in every other rev range funnily enough!
-
Yer it does depend on where you are going, had mine done at Topgear in Aylesbury and my welds look perfect
-
Like a couple of the guys have said, i think it comes down to the centre where its made. The local shop to me (Power & Performance) come highly recommended by a lot of people and they take alot of price in thier work.
I use alot of sportex systems as they are one of my suppliers, fitted one to my gti the other day (car now being sold) sounds gd, not too loud just adds a nicer tone and it fills the cut out in the bumper. i would like it louder as i like a loud exhaust but i cant complain about the system

mate had his done at grove garage in hove and its sweet, nice job
