Title: rat a tat tat

MY MK3 has, over the last year developed an annoying rattle coming somewhere from the passenger seat belt mechanism. Ive had the interior panels out to see if I can find its source but have been out of luck.

Anyone had a similar prob and managed to track down the culprit?? its most anoying!!!

yea, you know the mechanism that adjusts the height. mine was rattling. shoved a bit of cardboard  into rattly bit. no more rattle

yea, it is just the plastic cover rattling, if you shake it you can feel it is loose fitting
