Title: low engine temp
Post by: jcook6788 on 11 January 2011, 11:56
Hey,

My car engine temperature is constantly low when the car is moving, the gauge can move off zero if im at a long traffic light but then will go back down.

When the engine does heat up its bang in the middle every time.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers

1.8t 1999.

Its just annoying as it effects the air con.

Morning + English winter = badbabbad

Like I said if its standing still it has no problem holding temperature perfectly?! and yes I no when you move you obviously have an amount of air cooling but its not like the engine is stone cold

I would post your question in the mk4 section but could be a thermostat / water pump problem
