-
have you went thru the usual checks of ISV & ColdStart working correctly?
-
hi wots an isv is it a big job to get it checked
ps sorry for being thick :undecided:
-
hi a slight bit of progress :undecided: got the poorly mk2 started towed it for about 5 ft and it
runs and i have been nipping out once every hour to turn it over and it starts first time every time so its seems like its just the initial start in the morning . the cars got a good battery so any advice is most welcome
-
if you look in my gallery there is a pic with the ISV circled. this needs to be vibrating to the touch when the ignition is on. if its not then the car will be hard to start when cold
try disconnecting the cold start switch. if the cold start valve is old. it leaks. so constantly drips fuel overnight which inturn floods the car in the morning when you try to start
buy a haynes manual - it has diagrams on all these mentioned above
