Title: removing trim question?
Post by: tweed on 08 January 2011, 15:21
I'm trying to get hold of some gl/cl 3dr trim, finding that hard enough lol.
Anyway how do you remove them without damaging or bending? The reason I ask is because, I found a car on ebay that had some and when I asked about buying the bloke wouldn't sel,l because they was bent like a wave when they was removed previously. Is there a way to take them off?

No need to heat up just pull the trim off from one end first and the clips will give. They will probably break but VW sell the clips cheap.
