Title: new HU (rear speaker problem)

got a 5 door golf mk4

just hooked up my new HU and sorted the memory problems etc


now when i went to change the balence and fade on the HU for the speakers, i have no sound coming from my rear door speakers

 :embarassed: :embarassed:

has anyone had this problem and how can it be resolved

probably some weird and wonderfull VW way of wiring the speakers to the headunit. The wires are there somewhere. they just need finding lol

use new wires.factory wires are confusing  :laugh:

errm well it turns out there are no rear speakers lol

just the grills, so im gonna install some and wire them myself

My Passat V5 is the same, no speakers or wires coming out of the multiway plug that fits to the HU.
