After I come into some much needed money im now in a position i can buy all the parts i need to service the car properly

been pricing up some parts on eurocar parts but came across this on awesome gti

look like a rip off or a good little bundle?

The only other thign would be the HT leads are the ones from eurocar parts fine or is there a specific brand as seen there are a few 'uprgaded ones' you can get on venom but the standard replacement ones from venom are about £100 more that the bog standard ones on eurocar parts

I've used AVS for ignition stuff before and it all seems pretty good.

Though I ordered some handbrake cables from them 2 weeks ago and they've still not arrived.

Seems fairly decent, for the rocco a couple of days again i got:

Oil
Oil filter
Rocker Gasket
Indicator Bulb
G12+ Coolant
Screenwash

which came to £41 quid

And be very very carefull with your HT leads, there are countless numbers of people who buy non vag ones and have nothing but problems. I didnt realise how common it was until ash-lough bought some new 'uprated' leads and they didnt work and i started looking into it.

EDIT: I was looking at the non vat price, so actually its pretty sh!tty  :grin:

yes yes i will be doing an oil change  :wink: that was just the bits i was pricing up on eurocar parts but any suggestions on the oil front?

also i hear homebase are doing some sort of deal on engine oils at the mo, i havent been down there to have a look though yet.

Just bought 20litre barrel from Costco it was about £36 that was diesel stuff, the 5w to 40w should be about £38 "Chevron"
Otherwise Synta Silver is best for a 20year old car! 5litres about £25
