Does anyone know if the boot lock (internal latch) is the same as the doors?
I can only find door ones.

I'll try and check tomorrow - wouldn't want much, just a few quid for it - the tailgate is pretty much scrap anyway

is this a common fault on mk2's ?  :huh:

as mine doesn't work with the key only on the central locking on the drivers door   :shocked:

is there a list of common faults ?

My missus is still on maternity so she is in most of the time. Any day except Monday is okay, afternoons and evenings are usually better

manual and cl button is different too so make sure you get one to match. though can use either if you fit thew whole thing including the button, just if you have cental locking then obv manual one wont work with the cl any more. cl one will fit and work fine on a manual car :)

the mech get's crudded up

mine didn't work when got car but some wd40 equivalent and some time all is ok

Yep it was c/l - just to confirm you want the latch (golden bit) rather than the boot lock/button and central locking rods? I've only got the latch.
