Title: K-jet or digifant?

Yo im currently the proud owner of a 1984 Mk2GTI with a Kjet injection system,my previopus GTI was 1989 Pb digifant engine what do you folks think is better?I think the k-jet creams all over it!!!

i've got a digifant so of course i'm gonna say thats the better one!!!!!

digifants look better but k-jets are faster so people say. f**k it  :grin:

k-jets are the "race spec 1" and the digi's are the "famaily car engine"
 less 2 go wong with k-jets. 2

Lol .. this is all a big myth !!

The technical specs are the same - the only difference is 'as standard' the Digi has it's fuel and ignition maps setup with fuel consumption more in mind, and the throttle response isn't quite that of the K Jet - again to use less petrol. (Good old digi lag!)

Anyone ever been in a chipped Digi GTI ?? Not a huge amount of extra power but it's a different car, so much more drivable and responsive - in my mind the way they all should have been !!

ai, the quicker engines have a 2 somewhere in the number of valves :wink:
