I read 17 pages of splitter thread lol seems to be a good buy. I'm happy but looks like it's going to be a long wait.

Closest to the original VW splitters you're gonna get  great quality! But as Alex says, if you're running low keep a few cable ties on hand!

I have smashed a few cheapy ones, 2 genuine ones and now this eurowagens one, which is being saved via cable ties.

Oh and RE my first post: after reading it back I realised cable ties are plastic too :D

Swap in the word "splitter" for plastic.

The site says there closed for business but I dont think they are as they still send me stuff :P
I've had 2 eurowagens splitters so far, but they are very good! Only lost one when doing a dodgy fast u turn in hammersmith after missing a turn and didnt realise the other side of the road had a bit of a ramp on the side :P
so £20 for a new splitter and £60 fine from hammersmith council. awesome!

Lasted 8 mins.

Screwed on, lasted a week.

Buy genuine or go home.

Alternatively, Vento fronts look way better with a stock GTi one.

How much are genuine ones?

all I can say about the people who they dont last for is they are either really bad drivers, or ride so low that any splitter will come off regardless of make :P

I dont really see how anything can be fit better than the eurowagens one, I actually struggled to take mine off!

Ah but you are wrong sir, WRONG I say! Not all cable ties are plastic, you can also get stainless steel ones as I well know from tracking some down for work. Not that you'd really want stainless ones for holding an air dam on 'cause they're damned expensive, but I just thought it important to be clear. I'll just be elsewhere now....

Mine stayed on around the top but snapped all along an inch down. I've parked ON a genuine one with a curb and was fine.
