hiya heres a few pics of my new mk3. Its standard except for the lenso eagle 17in alloys and the exhaust which is a powerflow full stainless. The back box will be changed sometime this year to a twin exit similar to the standard also its been lowered but just on springs and struts again this will be changed for a set of coilovers. It came with loads of reciepts and also the original alloys aswell which werent in the best of condition so i quickly refurb them with some matt black just to use during this sh!tty weather to keep the salt off the lensos.

-
Pretty sure theres no real way of telling tbh as there not individually numbered like the 25th anni.I wouldnt think theres all that many annis left full stop in 8v,16v and tdi I do know that yours in metalic black was a optional extra.

I really like it, enjoy the new car fella.

Like the motor Mate, really clean example. I never saw this nocking about and I live by Dudley. I am going the other way and think the wheels need changing back to the original. I beliee Anni's need the original gear to keep the appearence but then it's your motor and if you like it then that's all that matters. And welcome to the site

Agree with Deano, needs to keep it's original features to holds it own. Obvs you don't want it to be like every one elses!
What's that rear badge say?
-
thats real nice that mate
-
Nice looking car mate
-
Thanks everyone the rear badge says gti 16v. The original alloys need a really good refurb. I like the alloys just sets it apart. Other than the oval tail pipe which will be changed for a twin original looking one the alloys are the only after market parts. No nasty speaker holes in parcel shelf either. Engine is all original might put an induction kit on just for abit of a throatier engine note. Not to interested in more speed. Just want to keep it as original as it is
-
Dont bother with induction kit!
Just get a K&N panel filter and fit a cold air feed.
-
Was reading a thread about fitting a cold air feed seems simple enough so think I will give that a go.
-
You can also take the warm air feed crap out of the bottom of the airbox and seal that hole.
-
Thanks for the advice. Think I'll tackle those few jobs when the weather picks up. Is there any noticeable differences when those 2 things are done?

nice car man, looks well clean. Makes my car look even worse that I thought
