Well i had read somewhere a while ago about someone who bought a Bugatti 1936 Type 57SC Atlantic, drove it home and then stuck it in his garage which was vacum sealed, air tight and temp controlled sell for £20.4 million, basically he collect very rare cars for his collection, even had a Ferrari Testa Rossa which he sold for £12.2 million, not 100% sure but think he died but he didnt leave the cars to anyone so they all sold at auction, gutted if you were related to him  but then again i bet they would have got something from the sale of them??? Apparently he had around 30 really rare cars sat in the garage.

Meh.....16.5k for a car you can't drive.  I wonder how its been stored, has it still been serviced?  Comes with no warranty.  And here's a little dig at the YouTube poster, that has to be the most boring vid I have ever seen.  Who the feck needs that sort of running commentary about how they looked at the ad!

Tell me about it..... what to sell, what to keep. would be nuts... and you could end up being very rich out of it and have almost any car you ever wanted.

Bit of an urban legend that one, I believe that barns just a collectors storage facility, not the story it's made out to be.

Yeah i know but the contents are great!.... i do love watching proper finds and resto's

not quite the same but the Chrysler Belvedere that the yanks buried 50 years ago as a time capsule was a disaster when they dug it out recently... felt quite sorry for them as it would have been cool if it had survived.

Have a look at this then look through the related vids when they unearthed it

I felt a bit sad for the car!... not the people.  I love how at the unveiling they still ham it up like its all dead exciting even though its fooked....  some guy tried to restore it to look a bit better later on.  they should habe got you on the case.   be a job and half that!

Some more interesting info on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Belvedere

Don't think it has been restored as yet.

I looked into quite a bit at the time as I obvioulsy had nothing better to do... As far as I know they have no intention of restoring, some guy did do some work on cleaning it up but thats as far as they planned to go with it I think.
