Post by: Len on 05 January 2011, 10:38: For camping the best tip is get there early! We always go down on the Thursday to miss the traffic and get an extra night in! Thursday night in Waves is always a blast!
(Waves is the normal camp nightclub)
If you get down on Thursday by say midday you will get a much better and closer camping pitch.
Take as much booze as you can as camp prices are high.
BBQ's are supposedly banned but many are used. But there are plenty of food vans etc onsite including a Cafe for breakfast and a take away.

Never seen any trouble in the town and I have been going since 1996 and Billy was going a good 4 years before that!
We always venture into town during the day, usually dress up (costumes) Sat lunchtime.

Not checked myself as I rarely go but I believe its in a field up by Morrisons which is the outside of Newquay.

So yes you can turn up just for that! Check out the main website, just google rtts

Post by: ian007miles on 02 June 2011, 18:38: I didn't even get to the show n shine :( . sat in the traffic 1 and 45 minuets so I turned the car around and left. but from wot I've read on the rtts page on face book some peaple sat in the traffic for alot longer than me and then waited 2 hours to get out of the show n shine car park :(. Just want to see some pictures on the show n shine dont suppose anyone got any to put up ???

The car park behind reception is big enough and dealing with the extra visitors/general public could be managed.
