Title: what clocks can be put into a mk2? ideas?

Just wondering what different clocks can be put into my mk2 its a 20vt? can any other styles be put in except the mk2 ones? cheers

You can put the MK4 ones in with a bit of fabrication.

From what I know early clocks are the same regardless of rev counter/ speedo etc, and late 1's the same as other late 1's. I went from 120mph non rev countered to 160mph with r/counter and mfa etc when I 16v'd my 1.3, because they were both late (ce2)

and are there any guides to doing these clocks or say a dash change or something? like a mk4 dash into a mk2 maybe?

any wrist watch and i'm sure with the passenger seat removed and rear bench folded a grandfather clock would fit.  :smug:

got mk3 16v clocks in track car look ok and pretty much fit straight in

but wanted to put toledo 16v clocks in again fit in pretty easy but had to change wiring and i couldnt be bothered

why stop at clocks go the whole hog and get a dash in there, corrado, TT etc... :cool:

 It is and is genuine VW. Makes you realise that all those bell-ends on Ebay putting 'rare' on everything are complete tonsels.

That item is only for the overlay not the complete unit. You also need the senates and alot of wiring to get it to work.

As above. you might be able to get hold of the clocks. But try getting hold of the looms and everything else to actually make it work.
