Title: front poly bushes?
Post by: donnystreeterroist on 03 January 2011, 15:26
a friend of mine has bought some front lower arm (lower wishbone if you like) front poly bushes and wants me to fit them to his mk5 platform jetta.

has anyone fitted these before i think he said they are powerfelx ones, do they need pressing in with a hydraulic press?

cheers in advance!!

I have fitted the front and rear front wishbone bushes and to be honest although it says on the box can be fitted by hand , which it can but it is far easier with a hyd press

Poly bushes don't need a press to fit, you pop the bush in (2 halfs) then a metal sleeve, easy.
