Title: Gti without front foglights

did some come out the factory like this as far as i knew they all came with fogs standard

Early GTIs didn't have them standard.

Loom won't be there, neither will the switch but both are easy enough to retro fit  :smiley:

most of the loom will be there between switch and light loom/block (which I'm sure is near the front panel), all you need is switch and the short front fog loom (which goes between the fog's to the black wiring block)

same as, my 16v is a 95 on an N plate, no fogs and some weird bloody air con and belt tensioner thing!!

All I did when I fitted fogs to my old wagon was buy a gti loom that has the fog light part then as mentioned when you open the bonnet by the top of the rad drivers side is a big circular plug.Unplug that and trace all the wires both sides remove it and then put the gti loom in pretty much the same as you took the old one out but you will now have 2 extra plugs each side for your fog lights.You will need the light switch with the fog light funtion and of course the fogs the whole thing cost me about £60 to do but worth it and its just plug and play  :wink:

ive got a switch,new in the box dude if u wanna buy it,was gonna use it on my 8v gti but its going soon as got a vr6 project on the go
