Title: mk3 GTI gearbox

Hi all, was wondering if anyone could tell me, i've found out that VW made 3 differnt gearboxes for the mk3 GTI 8 valve. does any1 know wat the difference is and would i be able to fit any other than one with the same code on it into my K reg(93) GTI 8v? thanks to this variation Im finding it hard to find a replacement box  :sad:

I think any 02A 'box will fit. Not 100% sure though. I'm sure someone else will confirm that.
