Title: NYD fireworks
Post by: Winso on 02 January 2011, 18:57
Took these at the new years day fireworks display at Cromer in north Norfolk. Not my best work either technically or artistically but I'm pleased with how they came out considering the wind, cold, salty spray, crowd and lack of a tripod. Some are 5 sec exposures and some are about 1/50 sec with the ISO bumped up to 3200. Big waves crashing into the sea wall just below and fireworks made a pretty cool scene!

For handheld these are impressive, I like how all of the water is lit up.
