Hi,
Just bought a mk3 8v and there is a ticking noise coming from near the throttle body when the engine is off. I have established that it is electrical as it goes away when the battery is disconnected. If anyone one has any ideas please help as it kills the battery.

Right time for an update thought it might be the ecu, so pulled out the 30 relay, no more ticking so will replace it this weekend and post the outcome.

Fixed it, was a faulty 30 relay. No more ticking, I just hope it was just that which was killing the battery.
