Just got some 17"bbs rk's 4 £150 there mint, need spacers for front tho coz they catch the calipers. Does any1 no wot size i need?
-
What offset are they.
3mm should do it.
205/40/17's tyres will be needed to keep gearing etc spot on.
-
They are et 48 which is abit wrong ino, and the tyres are 215/45s. Mint wheels tho and cheap i think :-)

Et48 is or sounds like Vauxhall fit, are they 100% 5x100 stud fitment.

Yeah definatly ive got rear 2 on, just need spacers for fronts
-
You would be better running 10mm spacers all round, leaving you with a offset of 38, tyres are the wrong size as well.
-
10mm wnt work it touches the caliper

What brakes are you running? et48 with 10mm spacers will give you et38 which should be miles away from the calipers :undecided:

Just standard mk3 gti brakes. It touches the actual carrier for the caliper. Any help would be much appreciated? Ive tried 10mm bt u cant push the wheel back far enough coz it touches the caliper :-¿

What is the centre bore of the wheels?
-
Centre bore is ok got the rears on withowt spacers, it just the front calipers thats the prob m8. Im confused
-
10mm spacer would move the wheel away from the caliper, god only knows why you still having clearance issues.
Did the wheels come of another Golf.
-
Supposadly they did but f*:k knows cant get my head round it

You got any pics of said wheels?
-
No, they are bbs rk though its stamped on them
-
If they are that close to the caliper then maybe you need a 15mm spacer and longer bolts, all seems very odd.
I ran 17" with et35 all ok.
-
Just tried a 10 and a 5mm and all ok, so 15mm it is :-)

You will need longer bolts plus get hubcentric spacers.
