Title: BBS Alloys
Post by: muffinman on 02 January 2011, 15:08: Just wanted to say a big thanks to Don_231 for the alloys :wink:, the car is starting to look as i want her now....next i just need to sort the wing out and pick up my subs, then i can look into lowering kits :smiley:.
How far can i go before the front valance starts to catch??

Post by: muffinman on 03 January 2011, 12:34: Thanks for the info guys. I took the car to kwik-fit today as one of the tyres needed re-sitting and it turns out I have 2 punctures on the tyre edges :angry:. Now my pockets are empty.....still love these alloys though

What size alloys are you running with that drop and does anything bottom out? Cheers

Post by: thatwillis on 03 January 2011, 18:04: 17s the sump likes catching on speed bumps so have to take them really slow. and roads with a high middles sometimes catch i need to get a sump guard really. Love it tho. :smiley:

Post by: ruggishGTI on 06 January 2011, 12:00: dont bother with a lowering kit ! forget the looks ul damage ur car allot in many ways and those times when u need people in your car on a journey your going to be pretty pissed! if your going to lower it lower it a little bit but really firm up the suspensions! if you have no family ! no friends and lots of cash and patients going 3MPH all day everyday over speed humps then go for it ! but anyway thats my opinion !
